A Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is an NHS working group: a team of service users and their families, commissioners, and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care using lived experience to contribute to transforming maternity care. There are local MVP teams across Sussex who are championing the service user’s voice. Follow the links below to find out more about what your local MVP is doing and how to join a meeting.
For those with a mild-moderate mental health need. If pregnant or have a baby and are feeling low, anxious or alone and live in the East Sussex area, referrals being taken from October 2022 email aiste.lorkins@nct.org.uk to find out more.
For those suffering from moderate to severe mental health issues and have a child up to 12 months of age.
Health in Mind is the free NHS Talking Therapies Service for anyone in East Sussex experiencing these kinds of emotional or psychological difficulties.
